Prepare your work now: Before you start, ensure your work is ready for upload.

During the registration submission you will be prompted to upload your work. You should upload all the files you wish to protect in the submission. The submission is completed once you make payment and at that point the files you uploaded are sealed as evidence of the content you upload as it existed at that point in time.

Uploading files

If you have a large number of small files to upload, we suggest that you use an archiving program such as WinZip, StuffIt or Tar to convert your files to a single archive. This will decrease overall size and simplify your upload.

Check your power management options on your operating system to ensure that your system will not go into standby or hibernation during the uploads.

Charges

The current charges for online registration are £39.00 for 5 years or £64.00 for 10 years per work. Uploads over 10MB are also subject to a fee of 3p per additional MB, but there is no limit to the amount of data you can upload within a single deposit.

All charges are in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT. Payment for online registration updates must be made by credit or debit card
